Azerbaijan’s e-Government Model presented in Singapore

The Electronic Government portal of the Republic of Azerbaijan was represented at the workshop entitled “Electronic Government Effective Strategies” organized at the e-Government Leadership Center (EGL)  of the  Institute of Systems Sciences operating under the  National University of Singapore  (NUS).

During the five-day workshop,  a team of professional teachers and specialists  conducted lessons for the delegates, and held  discussions on “development stages of electronization and approaches  used in this direction”, “service development methodologies and civilian use”, “change management, problems arising in this process, approaches and ways of their solution”.

Global challenges (population density, healthy living, mobile life, etc.) that Singapore and other countries face, ways of their solutions and future-oriented measures were brought to the attention of participants.

Attending  the course, the specialist of Electronic Government portal Jamshid Nakhchivanski   delivered a presentation on the work carried out in our country on “e-Government Model”, “e-Government Portal” and  “Open Government Data Portal”.

Analysis of various types of data and development models of advanced concepts related   to electronic services was carried out during the course which was organized to exchange  experience between the countries.

Also, information was provided about the role of social media in the development of electronic environment. The course was attended by 21 delegates from 19 countries.  On the last day of the course, the participants were awarded certificates.
