“myGov” mobile application won the “Global Government Excellence” Award in the "Best Smart Mobile Application" category on the "e-services" nomination.
On the occasion of the victory, a digital certificate was presented to the E-GOV Development Center (EGDC) of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, which created and managed the e-government portal and mobile application “myGov”.
The “Global Government Excellence” Award Jury consists of world experts who specialize in this field. The jury includes experts from Estonia, the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, the United Arab Emirates, Sweden, and other countries ranked high in the e-Government Development Index.
The team evaluates applications that add value to society and citizens in the nomination "Best Smart Mobile Application". The jury selects the best examples based on the features of mobile applications, technological solutions and innovations, content, user-friendly design and accessibility.
This year's nominations for the “Global Government Excellence” Award include the United Kingdom, the United Arab Emirates, Canada, the United States, Europe, and Africa.
The award was established by the company “Global Government Excellence”. The international company is headquartered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and Los Angeles, United States.
It should be noted that “myGov” serves citizens both in the form of an Internet portal and a mobile application. The portal was given to the use of citizens in 2019, and the mobile application in 2021. Citizens create their own personal cabinets by registering on “myGov”, get acquainted with their personal information, as well as apply through the "Feedback" section in connection with errors or incompleteness in this information. “myGov”, which combines the services of several integrated systems, currently has more than 800,000 registered users.
