The E-GOV Development Center (EGDC) of the State Agency for Public Services and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan has launched the “CheckApp” mobile application. The application was created for the purpose of checking COVID-19 passports in the institutions and enterprises provided by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The "CheckApp" mobile application is intended for use not by citizens, but by authorized persons of institutions and enterprises identified through the icaze.e-gov.az portal. Through the application, the relevant authorized person will be able to check the COVID-19 passport of a citizen over 18 years of age in order to use the services provided in public catering establishments, hotels and large shopping centers, indoors. Through the application, a citizen's COVID-19 passport can be checked in one of the following 4 simple ways:
1. By scanning the QR code of the citizen's COVID-19 passport;
2. By searching for the citizen's PIN and year of birth;
3. By searching for the serial number of the citizen's ID card and citizen’s year of birth;
4. By searching by name, surname, patronymic and year of birth of the citizen.

Citizens can see COVID-19 passports by registering on the “myGov” e-government portal or mobile application, as well as by registering on the “e-TABİB” mobile application or its.gov.az portal, and obtain an extract if necessary.
It should be noted that during the inspection, citizens who introduce their COVID-19 passport electronically must make sure that the passport is new and that they have introduced the latest version. Citizens who have difficulty introducing a COVID-19 passport electronically can provide ID card information (PIN, ID card serial number, name, surname, patronymic, year of birth).
