The interest in E- government portal, which carries out the process of obtaining information and documents between government bodies and citizens, is growing with every passing day. The increase in the number of users who visit the portal testifies it. Thus, there is a significant positive change in both the range of services provided through the portal as well as the usage dynamics.
Data Processing Center of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies (MTCHT), which is the operator of the E-government portal, has released statistical data on government agencies whose services were used most frequently and most commonly used electronic services during the first five months of this year.
10 government agencies whose services were used most frequently on the E-government portal in the first five months of 2017 are as follows:
- Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population (MLSPP),
- Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies (MTCHT)
- State Examination Center
- State Customs Committee
- “Azersu” OJSC
- Ministry of Internal Affairs
- State Committee on Property Issues
- Ministry of Justice
- Central Election Commission
- Ministry of Taxes
During this period, e-services of MLSPP were used 4 577 529 times. The service “Apply for targeted social assistance” provided by this government agency was used 1 388 673 times in the current year. The said service provides citizens with access to the information resources of 20 government agencies and 3 mobile operators.
MTCHT is among the top five government agencies whose services were used most frequently. Thus, the visits made to the e-services of the ministry was 3 088 725 and the most frequently used service was “Provision of information on numbers moved to another network through Mobile Number Portability ( MNP) service”. In the stated period the number of visits made to the said service was 1 692 360.
The number of visits made to the electronic services provided by the State Examination Center was 1 005 477. The Cener’s service “Online submission of applications by candidates (applicants, bachelors, candidates (applying for residency))” is among the most frequently used services. The number of visits made to this service was 384 492.
Vists made to the electronic services provided by the State Customs Committee was 332 638, “Azersu” OJSC - 59 596, Ministry of Internal Affairs - 39 615, State Committee on Property Issues- 33 644, Ministry of Justice - 20 190, Central Election Commission - 16 822 and Ministry of Taxes - 14 470.
Note that electronic services provided through the Electronic government portal simplify the work of both citizens and government agencies at the same time allows saving money and reducing workforce.
