A new electronic service “Provision of information on industrial accident to relevant government agency” of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population has been integrated into the E-government portal, whose operator is Data Processing Center (DPC) of the Ministry of Communications and High Technologies.

The e-service, provided by the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population, is aimed at facilitating the procedure of informing a  relevant government agency about industrial accidents, as well as creating necessary conditions for conducting investigations of industrial accidents in a prompt manner and in accordance with modern requirements.

Note that according to the Labour Law, every employer is obliged to inform the State Labour Inspection Service under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population about industrial accidents that State Labour Inspection Service could pursue investigation.

To use the e-service, government agencies, natural persons or legal entities should pass authentication on the E-government portal (www.e-gov.az) using an e-signature card or Mobile Authentication Certificate. After accessing the portal, the user must select the e-service “Provision of information on industrial accident to relevant government agency” of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population. At this time, the system will automatically determine information about the employer. Then, the user will have to enter information about the industrial accident into the system. The information includes date, hour and place of the accident, the cause of the accident, information about the victims and the person who reports the accident. Note that the system automatically determines information about the victim.

At the end of the procedure, the system will notify the user about the registration of information on the industrial accident.
