Regular trainings on e-government building were organized for residents of Aghjabedi and Imishli regions.

The Data Processing Center and the Youth Patriotic Education Public Union held workshops with the aim of educating residents in regions in the field of e-government. The workshops covered such topics as E-government portal, e-signature, open government data usage, reference documents and other electronic services.

Over 100 local residents participated in the trainings which were attended by representatives of Youth Patriotic Education Public Union, Data Processing Center, local executive authorities and private sector.

During the workshops held in Aghjabedi on 14 July and in Imishli on 15 July, Deputy Chairman of the Youth Patriotic Education Public Union Jeyhun Abbasov and employee of the Data Processing Center Elvin Jafarli made presentations on how to effectively benefit from more than 100 services provided by government agencies through the E-government portal.

The events organized in the format of mutual exchange of views and question-answer once again confirmed that our citizens living in regions are not well-informed about this area and it is necessary to conduct educational activities for them.

The workshop attendees were distributed educational books on Electronic government, published within the framework of the project.

Note that the workshops were organized in partnership with the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies and with the financial support from the Council of State Support to Non-Governmental Organizations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
